FMH exists to fight for mental health equity by raising awareness, expanding access, and delivering life-changing resources to underserved communities. We strive to ensure that hope, healing, and support are within reach for all.
To create a world where mental health support is accessible, normalized, and embraced in every communityโbreaking down stigma, bringing healing to hidden battles, and building a future where no one suffers in silence.
What began as a statement printed on a t-shirt and hoodie in Andre Barnett's Job Corps dorm room has grown into a beacon of hope for countless individuals who suffer in silence. FMH started as a personal reminder for Co-Founder Andre Barnettโthat he could win his own battles if he kept up the fight. That personal declaration has since transformed into a movement.
From clothing apparel to a community-driven mission, FMH was co-founded by Andre Barnett and Ken S.W. Williams. The two first met when Andre was completing his post-grad Job Corps program in Flint, Michigan, and Ken stepped in as a mentor to help guide Andre's professional development.
